Karwar: District Principal Judge V S Dharwadkar distributed cheques worth Rs 5.20 crore compensation amount to the remaining 95 Seabird evictees of 28 cases.

The programme was jointly organised by the District Legal Services Authority and District Bar Association in association with District Administration, which organised Legal Awareness workshop and compensation distribution to the Seabird evictees through Lok Adalat. Senior civil judge T Govindayya, additional senior civil judge Amarnath K K, civil judge Mahesh Chandrakanth and district bar association president S K Pawar were present on the occasion.
