Mangaluru: “Both Congress and BJP are engaged in politics in the name of religion. While one is engaged in pouring kerosene, the other is lighting the fire.”, said state JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy.

Speaking at the JD(S) workers convention here at Town Hall on Tuesday, he said, “both the national parties are responsible for disturbing peace in the coastal districts for political gain.”

“The Congress has failed in checking the violent politics of BJP. Give us a chance, we will curtail all their activities within 24 hours. Measures will be taken to end strife in the name of religion,” he said.
