Gokarna: Continuing his tirade against the Congress Party, Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Anant Kumar Hegde charged that Congress does not have any vision of development. Though this party ruled the country for last seven decades, they are still chanting the mantra of development.
“Congress is like cancer and the tumour has become a hurdle in the path of development. The people have to remove this tumour and make Karnataka free from Congress,” he said.
Addressing the public rally organised by the BJP in Gokarna, he said there is a pro-BJP wave in the country and because of this, the BJP has formed the government in 22 States.
On May 15, Karnataka will be the 23rd State for the BJP tally, he predicted.
Dividing people
Dividing the people, sowing the seed of hatred and hurting the religious sentiments of the people is the agenda of the Congress.
The staunch Congressmen are fed-up with such a governance and they are being sidelined by the newcomers who have migrated from other parties, said Anant Kumar.
BJP nominee Dinakar Shetty said, he has take up various developmental works during his term as MLA and there are no corruption charges against him. BJP workers are struggling day and night to highlight the central government schemes and ensure a win, Hegde further added.
On the occasion, several Congress workers shifted their loyalty to the BJP and were greeted with BJP flags.
