
Bhatkal: A meeting of workers from the Bhatkal and Manki Block Congress Committees of the Bhatkal-Honnavar Assembly constituency was held on Monday at the Namdhari Sabha Bhavan in Shirali, Bhatkal Taluk.
Presiding over the meeting, Uttara Kannada district in-charge minister Mankal Vaidya emphasized the crucial role of party workers, acknowledging their relentless efforts at the booth level to bring the Congress party to power in the state. He stated that the real leaders of the party are those who work tirelessly in their booths, day and night, to ensure the Congress secures victory.

Vaidya further noted that party workers are not limited to election activities alone, but also play a key role in discussing the promises made by the government during the elections. He highlighted that the meeting served as a platform to seek suggestions, address workers' concerns, and find solutions to their problems.
Several prominent Congress leaders participated in the event, including District Congress Committee President Sai Gaonkar, Bhatkal Block Congress President Venkatesh Naik, Manki Block Congress President Govind Naik, District Youth Congress President Amogh Sirsikar, District Congress Committee Vice President Rama Moger, Bhatkal Women’s Block Congress President Nayana Naik, and Manki Women’s Block Congress President Usha Naik.
Additionally, Congress leader and President of the largest socio-political Muslim organization, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem, Inayatullah Shabandari, along with Bhatkal Guarantee Committee President Raju Naik, Honnavar Guarantee Committee President Annappa Naik, and several other party leaders and workers, were present at the meeting.
