Karwar:  A total of six candidates filed nomination papers for contesting Council polls here on Tuesday which was the last day for filing nomination papers. 

BJP's Ganapati Ulvekar, Congress' Bhimanna Naik, independent candidates Dattatraya Naik, Eshwar Gowda, Somashekhar V S and Prakash Hegde filed their nomination papers.
