Udupi: The court of the Principal Chief Judicial Magistrate rejected the bail plea moved by police constable, Mohan Kotwal, in the cattle trader death case here on Wednesday.

Praveen Kumar R.N., Senior Assistant Public Prosecutor, said here on Wednesday that Mr. Kotwal moved the bail plea before the court on June 4. Two other policemen, suspended Sub-Inspector of Police of Hiriyadka police station, D.N. Kumar, and police vehicle driver, Gopal, had also moved bail pleas on June 5 and the court had called for objection by prosecution on June 8, he said.
