Karwar: As if straight out of a film script, high drama was witnessed in front of the City police station, in Karwar, after a youth, decked up in a woman’s costume, was seen demanding that the police trace his ‘missing’ boyfriend.

The youth, pursuing his MTech fifth semester, at a private college, in Bengaluru, has been with his college friend since long.

However, he has since left college and his studies and has been wandering in the City in woman’s costumes.

The boy’s parents have complained to the police that their son’s friend was responsible for the present situation of their ward.

However, the youth has confessed that his friend had taken loan from him and was not returning the same. Further, he has said, he was in love with his friend.

The police, however, prevailed upon the youth and sent him home. No case has been filed.
