Kundapur:  A 69-year-old cyclist was killed after a speeding lorry hit him on his way towards Trasi junction coming under Gangolli police station limits on Saturday in Kundapur.

The deceased has been identified as Anand Hebbar.

He was pushing his cycle on the adjacent side of the road when the lorry heading towards Byndoor from Kundapur knocked him down. He succumbed to injuries on the way to a hospital. 

A case has been registered in Gangolli police station.
