Bhatkal: A youth named Govind Nagappa Naik, resident of Chitrapul Oddakuli, committed suicide by coming under the moving train at Shirali in Bhatkal taluk. 

Sources said that the victim was working as a waiter at a hotel in Hyderabad from last 10 years and a week ago, had returned to his village. However, on Thursday night, Govind had left his mobile at home and had gone out.

Repeated searches by the family members went in vain as he was not traceable.

Later, some family members found his body on the railway track and informed the police. It is said Govind had health issues and was in depression.

A case is registered at the rural police station.
