Mundgod: The Dharma reservoir near Malagi in Mundgod taluk has reached the maximum storage level and on Sunday, the water began flowing towards the fields in Hangal taluk.

This is for the second time in the last four years that the reservoir has filled to the 
brim.

The reservoir irrigates around 15,000 hectare in Hangal taluk and provides drinking water to the villages coming under four gram panchayats in Mundgod taluk.

Farmers from the two taluks are rushing to the reservoir to see it flow with full force. The reservoir filling in just two months in the rainy season has made the farmers happy.
