Dandeli: Union Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister Anant Kumar Hegde has called upon the voters not to fall prey for any kind of appeasements doled out to them.
Stating that the defeat of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Medium & Heavy Industries Minister R V Deshpande in the ensuing State elections was a foregone conclusion, he said the main aim of BJP was to make Karnataka a Congress free State.
He was addressing the ‘Navashakthi’ programme of Haliyal, Dandeli and Joida booth-level workers at Ranganath Auditorium, in Dandeli, recently.
Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi, in his address, called upon party workers, to remember the 19 formulas laid down by National President Amit Shah to win Karnataka with a huge margin.
He said only the strength of booth-level workers would help party win the elections.
Former MLA Sunil Hegde said if BJP came to power efforts would be made to include Marathas living in Haliyal under 2A category.
Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa during his recent visit to Haliyal had assured including the community in 2A category, he said.
