Udupi: Dr. Shashikala, a retired doctor on contract at Udupi District Hospital, tragically passed away on December 7th while treating patients. 

Attending patients in the OPD, she suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the ICU.

Despite treatment, she succumbed to her condition. Her dedication to healthcare even after retirement is a testament to her selfless service.
