Bhatkal: Body of Kiran Kumar, an 18-year old tourist from Bengaluru, who was washed away in Murudeshwara beach in Bhatkal on Saturday was found at Bailur beach in the taluk on Sunday. 

Kiran was accompanied by his parents, sister and six others of his family, during his visit to Murdeshwara. Among nine members, four were playing in water on the beach and meanwhile, Kiran Kumar 
was washed away by a huge wave.

The local fishermen rescued three others. However, they were unable to trace Kiran after the incident. Later, the search operation was on to trace him and on Sunday, the body of Kiran was found on Bailur beach. 

The postmortem was held at Bhatkal Government Hospital.

A complaint has been filed 
at Murdeshwara Police Station.
