Bhatkal: The trend of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal students achieving top ranks at the university level continues, with Najadah Ekkeri from Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Applications (AIMCA) securing the first rank in the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at Karnataka University, Dharwad. This remarkable achievement has brought significant recognition to Anjuman College across the state.
According to a press release issued by AIMCA's Principal, Mohammed Mohsin, Najadah Ekkeri, daughter of Mubeen Ahmed Ekkeri and Nusrat Jahan, has accomplished a remarkable feat by not only achieving academic excellence but also memorizing the entire Quran during her three-year BCA course. The press release further mentions that Najadah scored 3421 out of 3700 marks, resulting in an impressive percentage of 92.46%. The BCA examinations were held in August-September 2023.
In addition to Najadah's achievement, it has been reported that Diksha Nagappa Kharvi from Bhatkal's Shree Guru Sudhindra BCA College achieved the third rank at the university level with a percentage of 91.73%. The second rank at the university level was secured by Shantala L Raibhag from Hubli's Global College of Computer Application, with a percentage of 92.27%.
It is noteworthy that there are over fifty BCA colleges affiliated with Karnataka University Dharwad, making Najadah’s achievement of the first rank among all these institutions a significant accomplishment. Balancing modern education with Quranic memorization is indeed a remarkable feat.
