Bhatkal mass murder case: Karnataka forensic team to visit crime spot

Bhatkal: In a latest development in the horrific mass murder case, a team of forensic experts from the National Forensic Science, Mangaluru visited the crime spot in Hadvalli Village in Bhatkal taluk.

The team arrived in Bhatkal on the request of Higher Police officials, and collected evidence from outside the house where four were hacked to death.

On Friday, Seventy-year-old Shambhu Bhat, his wife Madevi (60), son Rajiv (40) and daughter-in-law Kusuma (35) were hacked to death.

The Police said on Saturday that it has formed three special teams to crack the murder case of four members of the same family in Uttara Kannada district.
