Bhatkal: The real contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will not be between the BJP and Congress but rather between those supporting capitalists like Adani and Ambani, and those advocating for justice for the poor. To put it bluntly, it is a battle between the wealthy and the underprivileged, and a struggle between justice and injustice. These sentiments were expressed by Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar, the Congress candidate for Uttara Kannada.

Addressing Congress workers during her first visit to Bhatkal after being announced as the candidate for the Uttara Kannada constituency, Nimbalkar emphasized that people are being misled with false promises, and it is essential to hold the BJP accountable for its injustices.

Nimbalkar affirmed her readiness to work based on the voice of the people, highlighting that Congress has provided the nation with a constitution that ensures happiness and safety for all. She cautioned against attempts to amend the constitution crafted by Ambedkar and stressed the need to prevent such changes by thwarting the BJP's bid for power.

Criticizing the BJP's track record, Nimbalkar pointed out that none of their promises made over the past decade have been fulfilled. She condemned the government's preferential treatment of capitalists, contrasting it with the neglect of poor farmers struggling with debt. She urged the public to teach the BJP a lesson for deceiving them and emphasized that the Congress stands for national protection and justice for all.

Nimbalkar urged Congress workers to engage in door-to-door campaigns to raise awareness about the five guarantees issued by the Karnataka government. She expressed confidence that educating the public about these guarantees would contribute significantly to Congress's victory.

Regarding BJP's unfulfilled promises, Nivedit Alva, Convenor of KPCC Discipline Committee, highlighted the party's ten-year track record of broken promises. Alva underscored Nimbalkar's familiarity with the development needs of the constituency and emphasized the party's commitment to ensuring her victory within a 30-day campaign deadline.

Introducing Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar, District In-Charge Minister Mankal Vaidya praised her previous accomplishments in Khanapur constituency, including establishing a specialized hospital for women. Vaidya rallied support for Nimbalkar, expressing confidence in her potential victory and projecting the Congress party's return to power at the center after the elections.

Congress District President Sai Gaonkar echoed the sentiments, emphasizing the guidance provided by senior leaders for election preparation and highlighting Dr. Anjali's dedication to public service, especially in the medical field. Gaonkar expressed optimism about Nimbalkar's candidacy and the party's prospects in the upcoming elections.
