Bhatkal: Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner, Mamata Devi, has recently been transferred after serving in the position for a significant period. 

Dr. Naina N (KAS), Chief Administrative Officer at Vijayapur Medical Science and Research Institute in Bellary, has taken over as the new Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal. As of now, there is no official announcement regarding Mamata Devi's new posting.

Mamata Devi (IAS) assumed the role of Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner in March 2021, and during her tenure, she earned a commendable reputation among the public and within the department. Her friendly demeanor, conscientiousness, and administrative expertise contributed to this positive image. She also played a pivotal role in effectively organizing the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. 

Furthermore, she demonstrated unwavering dedication in providing relief to the community during instances of heavy rainfall and floods. Mamata Devi actively pursued securing adequate government compensation for those affected by natural calamities.
