Bhatkal: Exposing the corruption of Bhatkal MLA Sunil Naik, Former MLA Mankal S Vaidya alleged that Sunil Naik has sold Bhatkal's government bus stand just as the BJP ruling government at the center has sold the airport, port, bank, and BSNL etc.

Addressing the Congress workers at the party office, he said that the BJP government at the center is selling everything, the local BJP MLA who is also following their leaders at the center is not behind in any way. He asked the workers whether they know what your MLA has sold?. Your MLA have sold the government bus stand of Bhatkal, Mankal answered to his own question.

When I was an MLA, the bus depot was shifted to Sagar Road due to lack of space for the bus stand. My plan was to construct a four storeyed building for the existing bus station and provide employment to the unemployed and avail many facilities including parking for government and private employees going to other cities. But BJP candidate Sunil Naik, who won in the last election has sold the bus stand to a private person. He alleged that because of this he has ruined my development plan and public interest.
