Bhatkal: A house located at Bhatkal Shifa Cross was burglarized on Sunday. The thieves were unable to locate gold ornaments and cash in the cupboards; instead, they took items such as taps, inverter Battery, circuit breakers, and pressure cookers etc.

The house belongs to Ateeq Khatib, who resides in Bangalore. On July 4th, Ateeq's sister had visited the house and found everything in order. However, on Sunday, July 9th, upon her return, she discovered that the entrance door had been damaged. It was reported that the thieves forcibly broke the locked door to gain entry. The cupboards inside the house were found broken, and all belongings were scattered. It was discovered that the thieves had made off with valuable items from the house.

Upon receiving the information, the Bhatkal rural police promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation, gathering further details.
