Mangaluru: A female lawyer files a complaint against a private bus driver and conductor for alleged verbal abuse at Kadri station.

K. Mufida Rehman, a professional lawyer from Jalalbagh near Derlakatte, had a distressing encounter on Monday. As she was attempting to board the bus, the driver abruptly accelerated, causing her to almost lose her balance. In response, Mufida screamed in fear. Despite the driver's failure to halt the bus, the conductor eventually assisted her onto the bus. However, his actions were accompanied by offensive remarks, as he questioned why she couldn't board more quickly and even mentioned the possibility of her falling and dying. When another passenger objected to his comments, he allegedly continued to insult her.

The Kadri police have taken action and registered a case against the bus's driver and conductor.
