Mankal Vaidya Announces Plans to Adopt 50 Poor Children, Establish Orphanage and Old Age Home

Bhatkal: The Congress government in Karnataka, led by Siddaramaiah, made a significant gesture on MLA Mankal Vaidya's 51st birthday by appointing him as a cabinet minister. To mark the occasion, Mankal Vaidya celebrated his birthday in a unique way at his residence in Murdeshwar on Monday, where he also announced initiatives to support poor students and underprivileged individuals.

During the celebration, a special cake-cutting ceremony was held with blind students, families, and activists from a school for visually impaired children.

Speaking to the media, Fisheries, Port and Inland Transport Minister Mankal Vaidya declared that he would adopt 50 poor children from his constituency and help them pursue their chosen fields of study. He also pledged to establish an orphanage and an old age home in his constituency.

"I have completed fifty years of my life, and I wish to dedicate myself to serving the poor," said Mankal Vaidya. He said that he would live with the orphans in the orphanage, wherever it may be. He also said that he would spend more time with the elderly in the old age home. Mankal Vaidya emphasized that these three goals were of utmost importance to him, as they focused on supporting the poor and the general public.

During the event, Mankal Vaidya expressed gratitude to the people of Bhatkal for their votes, which led to his victory. He assured them that he would work tirelessly for all the constituents in his area and extend his efforts to assist underprivileged individuals throughout the district and the state.

Present at the celebration were Mankal Vaidya's wife, Pushpa Lata Vaidya, his daughter, Beena Vaidya, senior Congress leader LS Naik, Bhatkal block Congress president Venkatesh Naik, and numerous other Congress workers.
