Karwar: Additional Deputy Commissioner Prakash Rajput stated that the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita provide effective solutions to many issues and conflicts within the human mind and society. He emphasized that the messages of the Bhagavad Gita are relevant to the entire world at all times.
Speaking at the Sri Krishna Jayanti celebration held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office auditorium on Monday, Rajput addressed the gathering after offering floral tributes to Lord Krishna.
Damodar Neeladas from the ISKCON temple delivered a lecture on Lord Krishna, highlighting that Krishna’s prominence comes from the Bhagavad Gita, which imparts invaluable messages to the world. He encouraged incorporating Krishna’s teachings into one’s life, asserting that recalling Krishna can alleviate all of life’s difficulties.
The event was attended by Mangala Naik, Assistant Director of the Kannada and Culture Department, along with officials from various departments, students, and other attendees. The program also featured a devotional bhajan session organized by the ISKCON temple.
