Bhatkal: The Uttara Kannad district administration has finalized all arrangements for a unique celebration of Maha Shivratri on March 8 at the renowned tourist destination of Murudeshwar. Speaking to reporters regarding the event, Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Dr. Naina announced that the grand celebration is scheduled for March 8. A magnificent stage is being set up near Murudeshwar Beach for the occasion, and acclaimed religious singer Ananya Bhatt has been invited to perform, along with several other artists.

Dr. Naina further stated that local artists will also be given a platform to showcase their talents, with arrangements made for their food and accommodation. Additionally, plans are underway to project details related to Lord Shiva using laser beams.

The event is expected to draw devotees from across the state, with an estimated attendance of five to six thousand people anticipated for this special occasion.
