Mulki: The Mulki police have arrested a 30year old man for attempting to snatch a chain from a woman's neck on the Old Gangady-Pavanje road and successfully stealing a chain from another woman in Katapadi. 

The arrested has been identified as Vinaya Prasad Jogi (30).

The police have also confiscated assets amounting to Rs 2.35 lakh, including the motorcycle that was used in the theft. Additionally, they have recovered stolen items, consisting of gold and coral weighing 43.4 grams, from the possession of the detained suspect.
