Mangaluru: Customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport intercepted two passengers arriving from Abu Dhabi and Dubai via Air India Express flights. 

The individuals were attempting to smuggle 24-carat gold, weighing 815 grams and valued at Rs 50,93,750. 

The gold was cleverly concealed in their rectums, shaped into three oval objects in paste form. Further inspection revealed hidden gold inside chocolate boxes.
