Mangaluru:  A 43 year-old man succumbed to electrocution while engaged in painting work in Alape village, Mangaluru.

The deceased had been identified as Zainuddin Abdul Rehman (43).

The incident occurred when the iron ladder he was on accidentally made contact with a live wire, causing him to fall.

A case had been filed at Kankanady Police Station.
