Karwar: Kallur Education Trust will facilitate Padma Shri awardees Tulasi Gowda and Harekala Hajabba at Shivaji Vidyamandir at Asnoti in Karwar taluk at 10:30 am on January 3, said Trust President Ibrahim Kallur. 

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, he said, 15th anniversary of the education trust and felicitation to meritorious students will also be held on the same day.

Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences Director Gajanan Nayak would inaugurate the programme. Asnoti Education Trust Secretary Sanjay Salunke will preside. District Health Officer Sharad Nayak, District Surgeon Shivanand Kudtalkar, and others would be the chief guests, he said.
