Udupi: "District In-Charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj should file a defamation case against me within 30 days, else I will be filing a case against him", stated socialist T.J Abraham.

Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, he told, Pramod Madhwaraj has sent me a notice to apologize in public within a span of three days. Accordingly, I am here to apologize that I failed to give complete information about the minister's movable and immovable property details earlier. I take the opportunity to explain that in 2015-16, Pramod himself submitted returns to the Lokayukta, which states that his movable and immovable property including agricultural land, non-agricultural land, jewelry, and buildings is worth Rs 40.20 crore.

"Syndicate Bank granted a loan of Rs 193 crore to Madhwaraj against a collateral property worth Rs 1.18 crore. How is it possible?", he questioned.

"After filing a case, to prove all the allegations wrong, Pramod would need to submit all the documents to the court. If he doesn't do so, it will be a reverse hit on him", Abraham said.

He lastly said that Pramod Madhwaraj has given him a deadline of 3 days to apologize in public, which in return he now wants to give Pramod a deadline of 30 days to proceed with a defamation suit.
