Sirsi: An incident of a house coming under the influence of fire was reported here near TV station road in Sirsi on the late night of 1st March, Thursday, causing the loss of more than three lakh rupees.

According to the sources, the house belonging to an employee of Divgi factory Santosh Katagi was gutted when the occupants were out for Sirsi cart festival. The fire caught the cloth materials, Television and many other things making them turn to ash.

As the information was alerted, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and conducted the investigation for the cause of the fire.
