Yellapur: The Yellapur forest department officials confiscated venison of a barking deer (Kadukuri) from a house near Magod and  have arrested the person engaged in the trade.

The accused has been identified as Suresh Ganapati Siddi, a resident of Kambadabail village, in Magodu. The Officials seized more than 1.5 KG of venison from his house, which was kept for sale. 

RFOs Balasubramanaya and Ashok Shiragavi, besides Basalingappa, Nagaraj, Rafiq, Shivaprasad Naik, Prashant were part of the raid.
