Bhatkal: A grand free medical camp was successfully organised at the Urdu Girls School in Manki, a neighbouring area of Bhatkal, under the patronage of Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen Manki. The camp was jointly organised by Al Qaseem Sports and Social Club, Manki, in collaboration with Life Care Hospital, Bhatkal.
Around 200 people benefited from the medical camp and underwent health check-ups. Members of the public made good use of the opportunity and participated in large numbers, contributing to the success of the programme.

The inaugural programme of the camp was held on Sunday morning at around 10 am, in the presence of office-bearers of the Jamaat and invited guests. Speaking on the occasion, the speakers appreciated the social services rendered by Al Qaseem Sports and Social Club, stating that this was not the first time the club had organised a medical camp for public welfare. Several welfare activities had earlier been carried out under the club’s banner, which has remained its distinct identity. Although such activities had slowed down for some time, the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the present group of youngsters was commendable. The youth were congratulated and special prayers were offered for them.

Among those present on the occasion were Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen Manki President Habib Kadpadi, Secretary Hasan Bapu, Qazi and Khateeb Maulana Shakeel Ahmed Sukri Nadvi, Mashima Mohammed Irfan, Hafiz Riyaz, along with several other dignitaries.
It is noteworthy that Al Qaseem Club made excellent arrangements for the convenience of the public. Free auto-rickshaw services were also arranged for patients to facilitate their transportation, which was widely appreciated. Doctors and their team who participated in the camp lauded the hard work, discipline and spirit of service displayed by the club and its youth, and expressed their gratitude to the organisers.
