Joida: Excise police arrested two persons, who were engaged in transporting illicit Goan liquor at Anamod Checkpost, in Joida taluk, on Monday, and confiscated liquor worth Rs 13.78 lakh.

The accused Dineshkumar and Kamalesh were transporting 67 cartons of Royal Stag Whisky, Casino Whisky, 36 cartoons of Real Whisky and 63 cartoons of Kingfisher Beer bottles form Goa to Joida.
