Karwar: The excise officials have arrested two accused on the charges of carrying Goan liquor in their bike on 10th October, Tuesday night here at Karwar.

The accused were identified as Sachin and Surendra, both residents of Kodibag in Karwar. 

According to the case filed, it is reported that the estimated value of liquor which was seized is said to be around ₹ 36,500.

A raid was led by the team consisting of  conducted excise sub commissioner S Sham Joyce, Deputy Superintendent MV Areguli, S Y Bhovi, Shivanand Koraddi, Shanur Jamadar and Basava Karennavar.
