Gokarna: A man was killed after a soil mound collapsed on him near Chaudageri near Gokarna on Tuesday. 

The deceased has been identified as Mohandas H Nayak (56), a resident of Silya village of Ankola taluk. Nayak was the contractor of the soil. The incident took place when he was watching the removal of soil.
