<video:description><![CDATA[Violent clashes broke out in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, during the partial demolition of a 600-year-old Shahi Masjid. The removal of a 9x4-foot portion is part of a 15-meter road-widening project to manage massive crowds for the upcoming 2028 Simhastha Kumbh Mela. The mosque committee legally challenged the project, but the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court rejected the petitions, noting that multiple religious structures were being altered neutrally.

A 7-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed, even though administration labeled the assault a rumor. LPU has suspended classes for 10 days and postponed exams.

A planned three-day nationwide bank strike scheduled for September 28–30 was officially postponed following successful late-night talks between the United Forum of Bank Unions and the Indian Banks' Association, preventing a major financial freeze.Counterfeit

<video:title><![CDATA[Fatafat News, Rain in Northern India]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[1. In Guwahati, Assam Police took into custody Ashutosh Ranka, the co-convenor and spokesperson of the Cockroach Janta Party. Police took this action while the party was organizing a meeting of its volunteers. According to reports, several other party workers were also taken into custody along with Ranka. Ranka and other party officials have consistently raised various questions concerning the Assam government.

2. The Cockroach Janta Party has strongly objected to the police action, demanding the immediate release of those detained. The party has alleged that attempts are being made to restrict political activities through these detentions. Following the police action, the proposed meeting of volunteers in Guwahati was severely disrupted, temporarily impacting party activities. After this incident, the Cockroach Janta Party has announced that it will raise the matter at both political and administrative levels.

Segment 2: Nationwide Bank Strike

3. A three-day nationwide strike by bank employees will take place from September 28 to 30, with banking services likely to be disrupted. The United Forum of Bank Unions has maintained its call for a three-day nationwide strike. Bank unions state that their key demands include the implementation of a five-day banking system. The unions are also pressing demands regarding the Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and certain other pending issues.

4. The strike is expected to have its most prominent impact on branch-level services of public sector banks. Cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque clearance, and other branch-related work may be affected. However, digital services such as ATMs, UPI, internet banking, and mobile banking are expected to remain operational. Notably, to convenience customers ahead of the strike, multiple public sector bank branches were kept specially open on Sunday, September 27.

5. (Visual Break / Video Graphics: Digital Banking vs. Branch Banking Services)

Segment 3: Severe Rains and Devastation in Uttar Pradesh and Other States

6. In Uttar Pradesh, heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and thunderstorms have severely disrupted normal life in many areas. According to officials, at least 56 people have died and 46 have been injured in various rain-related incidents. Above-normal rainfall has been recorded in 63 districts of the state, while the threat of sudden flooding has emerged in some areas. Mud walls and houses collapsed at numerous locations, while gusty winds caused widespread tree uprooting.

7. News of casualties has emerged from several districts, including Gorakhpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Amethi, and Barabanki. Stormy rains and winds have damaged 117 houses and standing crops. In Lucknow, heavy downpours left multiple roads completely waterlogged, forcing citizens to face severe commuting difficulties. The Meteorological Department has indicated the likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in various parts of the state, while the flash flood threat persists in some areas.

8. Meanwhile, rain devastation continues in Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha. There are reports of abnormal rises in river water levels and waterlogging on streets across various cities. In Chhattisgarh, 5,000 people have been relocated to safe locations.

Segment 4: Mumbai Accidents and Tragedies

10. In the Ram Mandir area of Goregaon East, Mumbai, an incident occurred inside a public toilet where two young men died, suspectedly due to toxic gas. Both youths were found unconscious inside the toilet in the early hours of Sunday. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed their deaths.

11. According to police, the deceased were approximately 18 and 24–25 years old. Local residents informed authorities of a pungent chemical odor emanating from the toilet. Police suspect the incident occurred after gas leaked into the facility from a nearby small-scale industrial plating unit. Teams from the fire brigade, police, ambulance, and municipal authorities rushed to the spot and inspected the area.

12. In another major accident, two people died and one person was severely injured in a collision between three vehicles in the Borghat area of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. <video:description><![CDATA[MANGALURU: A section of a supporting wall collapsed at a student gathering in Mangaluru on Saturday, leaving five young men injured. A 16-year-old among them is undergoing intensive treatment and is reported to be in critical condition.

The incident took place at Ram Lakshmi Sabha Bhavan near Yemmekere Cross during a programme organised for the oath-taking of newly appointed student office-bearers.

The venue reportedly became crowded as students gathered for the event. With limited space inside the hall, some participants were standing in the corridor outside. The wall alongside the corridor suddenly collapsed, sending several students to the ground.

The injured were identified as Mohammed Shamaz (16), Mohammed Shanan (18), Haneef (23), Dawood Farsin Ahmed (18), and Mohammed Shakeel Hussain (18). They were taken to private hospital in Mangaluru for medical treatment.

Hospital authorities said Shamaz suffered serious injuries and was shifted to the intensive care unit. His condition was described as critical.

Preliminary information suggests that some of the students had been standing against or leaning on the wall shortly before it gave way. Police are examining whether the structure had already weakened and whether the additional pressure from the gathering contributed to its collapse.

Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal confirmed that the injured students had been taken to hospital. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident and are examining possible safety lapses at the venue.

The investigation will also look into the structural condition of the wall, the number of people present at the programme and whether adequate safety arrangements were in place for the gathering.]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[Bhatkal Special Report: A mosque and madrasa in Bhatkal’s Gulmi area were allegedly targeted with stone-pelting during a Ganesh idol immersion procession on Wednesday night.

The incident reportedly damaged windows of the Ismail Sunni Jamiya Masjid and the adjoining Tajus-Sunna Arabic Madrasa. Following the incident, hundreds gathered outside Bhatkal Town Police Station demanding action against those responsible.

Police registered a case and arrested two people on Thursday morning. A counter-complaint was also registered after BJP and Sangh Parivar-linked workers alleged that the Ganesh procession had been targeted with stone-pelting.

Western Range IGP Chetan Kumar visited Bhatkal to review the situation. Additional police forces and Rapid Action Force personnel have been deployed at sensitive locations ahead of Friday’s Ganesh Chaturthi procession.

Watch SahilOnline’s Special Report for the latest details, police action and developments from Bhatkal.
