Haliyal: District In-Charge Minister RV Deshpande has called upon students to be time-conscious and develop a strong character.

He was speaking during an interactive session with the students of Government first grade college at Havagi village near here on 20th February, Tuesday. He explained that the development of a nation depends on the development of its youth and 'Vision 2025' which is scheduled to be held on March 2 envisages exactly this.

On the occasion, he distributed free laptops to selected second and third-year students of the college. The Jindal Steel Foundation has donated 553 laptops.
