Honnavar: The excise officials seized around 8.5 litres of Greenland Coconut feni brand of Goan liquor, during a flash raid at Kelaginur village in the taluk, and registered a case against Narayan Ganesh Tandel.

Excise Inspector Shreemathi said, the accused Narayan was absconding and a search was on to nab him. The flash raid was conducted in order to check any violation of model code of conduct, she added.
