Bengaluru: The Second PUC Exam-2 is set to commence from April 29 and will run until May 16 in Karnataka, with a total of 1.49 lakh students enrolled for the examination.

In the Arts stream, there are 52,492 registered students, including 19,987 girls. The Commerce stream comprises 39,427 students, with approximately 14,525 being girls. The Science stream boasts 57,381 students, with an almost equal distribution between boys and girls.

Across 301 exam centers for Exam-2, Bengaluru North anticipates over 11,800 students across 17 centers, Bengaluru South expects over 14,400 students across 22 centers, and Bengaluru Rural has four centers with 1,774 students.

Among the 1.49 lakh students, over 32,800 aim for improvement, while more than 27,000 are repeat candidates.

Furthermore, over 89,000 students who previously didn't pass have registered for the exam. Additionally, 139 privately registered students, who haven't met the required 75% attendance, seek to sit for the examination.

To obtain admission tickets for the exam, students can visit the website https://kseab.karnataka.gov.in and use their eleven-digit registration number. Those without a registration number should contact their college principal for assistance.

This year, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board has implemented a three-exam system, allowing students to appear for three exams, with the Board considering their best scores for assessment.
