Karwar: Indian Medical Association, Karnataka, has decided to take part in ‘Belagavi Chalo’ agitation against the proposed amendment to KPME Act on November 13. All private medical establishments will remain closed on the day in Karwar. Recently, the doctors of Uttara Kannada district had called a 24 hour band, but the state government has not responded to the agitators’ demand and is going ahead with its plans to amend the KPME Act during the winter session to be held in Belagavi.
