Karwar: All should imbibe teachings of Bhagwan Mahaveer and lead better their lives, said Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul.

Addressing Mahaveer Jayanti programme, organised by District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and Kannada & Culture Department, at his office in Karwar on Thursday, he said, all saints, philosophers and monks preached peace and tolerance in the world.

Everyone should follow preachings of great personalities, he added.
