Karwar: A bike rider succumbed to injuries failing to respond to treatment following the accident between a car and his bike, near Majali, in the City, on Sunday night.

The deceased Shambha Krishna Salaskar (43), was resident of Gabitwad. 

He had suffered serious injuries and admitted to district hospital but failed to respond to treatment.

A case has been registered at Chittakul Police Station.
