Mundgod: All schools in Mundgod taluk were cleansed, on first day of the school reopening, on Monday.

The teachers held a meeting on how to improve education quality at the schools on the occasion. They also gave a grand welcome to students on day one. The students participated in cleaning school premises and classrooms along with teachers. Though there were few schools in taluk, attendance was less. Teachers also prepared school time table, and distribution of textbooks and uniforms. They also chalked down programme to increase students strength in government schools.

Parents were preparing children for schools after two months of summer holidays.
