Kumta: The leading Muslim youth organization of Kumta, Al-Ittihad Youth Committee hosted a grand public program on "Seerat-Un-Nabi & Islaahe Muashira" in Kumta on 2nd December, Saturday at Yusuf Khan ground in Muslim street, Kumta.

The program was divided into three different sessions, in which the first and second session began immediately after Asar and Maghrib prayers respectively, which had Naat competition for children. The third session, which can also be considered as the main session of the event began after Isha prayers, which marked the sermons from Islamic scholars present as guests from Bengaluru.

Present as the chief guest, Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Ziauddin Madani Saheb, addressing the gathering, delivered the sermon by enlightening the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  He led a long inspiring speech on "Seerat-Un-Nabi" and concluded by thanking the Almighty Allah for allowing us to gather at one place with the intention of listening to the concept of 'Seerat'. He was also thankful to Al-Ittihad Youth Committee for organizing such a great event.

Maulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi, present as the guest in the event, also enlightened the lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and spoke about the responsibility of each individual Muslim in this world. In his speech, he elaborated the love of Ummah towards prophet Muhammad.

Renowned personalities of the town such as president of Kumta Jamat Ul Muslimeen Muhammad Shafi Shaikh, Ex-president of Ideal education trust Basti Abdul Malik Saheb and General secretary of North Kanara Muslim United Forum Muhammad Mohsin Qazi highlighted some points encouraging the ongoing services of Al-Ittihad Youth Committee in the town.

The program began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Maulana Abdul Subhan. General secretary of Al-Ittihad Youth Committee, Riyaz Khan presented the annual report of the committee and briefed on achievements of the committee. Maulana Minnatullah Qasmi compered the event, Sajjad Qazi welcomed the guests and Amjad Shaikh led vote of thanks.

The program was presided by Kumta Jamat Ul Muslimeen president Muhammad Shafi Shaikh.

On this occasion, President of Kumta Muslim Association Muhammad Akbar Mulla, Vice-president Abdul Shukur, Kumta Jamat Ul Muslimeen general secretary Abdurl Razzak, Al-Ittihad Youth Committee president Iftiqar Shaikh, Nakhuda education society president A.B Mulla were present on the dais.
