Mangaluru: An memorandum has been submitted to the City Commissioner of Police of Dakshina Kannada District by the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Women's Wing, urging legal action against Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt, who allegedly made derogatory remarks about Muslim women. 

The petition specifically calls for a ban on his public speeches and legal consequences for his statements.

Sumaiya Hameedullah, the coordinator for Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Mangaluru City, Shahida Umar, the deputy coordinator, and Shahnaz, the editor of Anupama Mahila Monthly were present.
