Kalaburagi: Dalit leader and former Zilla Panchayat member of Kalaburagi, Gurushanth pattedar announced a reward of Rs one crore to anyone who cuts and brings the tongue of Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde, who has made a statement on changing the constitution.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Pattedar said that the minister has openly declared that the ruling regime intends to change the constitution which he dubs Ambedkar Smriti in order to deal with the word secular from the preamble.
Pattedar said that all the people in the country are living in peace. However Hegde is making statements that can cause unrest in the society. He demanded that Hegde should be dismissed from the Union cabinet. Pattedar urged that BJP should give up anti- constitution attitude.
Pattedar warned that the tongues of those who make statements against the constitution and of betrayal against the country will be cut followed by their hands, legs and neck.
He offered to pay a reward of Rs one crore to those who cut the tongue of Ananth Kumar Hegde before January 26, 2018.
