Haliyal:  The Karavali festival of Haliyal in Uttara Kannada concluded with a slew of entertainment shows on Saturday. The huge crowd applauded the cultural extravaganza that showcased various programmes.

The Rashi Chakra Nataka by Yashvantarao Sirdeshpande, in which the renowned film producer and inimitable humorist gave a rib-tickling narration of his interpretation of all the signs of the Zodiac, was a crowd puller. It produced deafening guffaws from the audience. Youth swayed to the brilliant performance by popular music maestro Gurukiran and his group.

District In-Charge Minister R V Deshpande, ZP president Jayashri Moger, DC S S Nakul, ZP CEO Chandrashekar Naik and ZP vice-president Santosh Renake were present.
