Karwar: The police seized Rs 15,000 worth illicit Goan liquor bottles and 4 lakhs worth car from a person, who was involved in transporting it during a raid conducted near Majali in the taluk on Wednesday. 

The accused has been identified as Ajay Dawade (25), a resident of Nandanagadda in Karwar.

He was caught red-handed during a raid conducted by the team of excise officials led by G.S Gundu. 

Further investigations are carried on.
