Karwar: The Pulse Polio Programme will be held on January 28 (Sunday) throughout the Uttara Kannada district where 1,09,355 children below five years are expected to be vaccinated in the programme. The Health Department has made elaborate arrangements for the drive, as many as 866 Pulse Polio booths will be opened in the district and 3,600 staff and volunteers will be deployed. On January 29 to 31, the Health Department staff will be visiting each and every house in district.
