Kasargod: The Kumble police here have arrested two thieves who had performed a heist at a mobile store on 30th January, Tuesday and along with stealing 3 mobiles, had also taken along 50 packs of cigarette and four thousand rupees cash amount.
The arrested accused have been identified as Ejaz (22yrs) and Hidayatullah (23yrs).
According to the sources, the accused entered into the mobile shop belonging to Mohammed Rafeeq on Tuesday and performed the theft. The duo stole three mobile phones out of which it is gathered that one was sold, while the other two are being used by the duo themselves.
The police were successful in locating the duo with the help of the cyber crime branch department.
It was learnt that the arrested accused have around 20 pending cases registered against them regarding thefts, drugs, etc at various police stations including Ullal police station.
