Puttur: In a clash between a KSRTC bus and a car on 26th January, Friday at Kabka near here, one person died, while three others have been reported to be severely injured in the accident.
The deceased has been identified as Raja Sab Nadaf (32yrs) s/o Mabu Sab, a resident of Panjim in the neighbouring state Goa.
Paresh Vaman and the driver Rakshit, who were travelling in the car are said to be seriously injured due to the heavy impact of the collision.
According to sources, the KSRTC bus was travelling towards Kasargod from Bengaluru via Puttur when it collided with an i20 car which was moving towards Madikeri from Goa via Mangaluru. After the accident all four people travelling in the car were seriously injured and were transferred to a hospital in Mangaluru.
However, Raja succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. The car was also completely damaged by the impact of the collision.
A case has been registered at Puttur traffic police station.
